Do you use a fixing powder with Fantasy World Wide?
Hey guys, I have my beautiful Fantasy World Wide paints. I have practiced a little and plan to only use them at home and on personal projects, not taking them on the job.
The colors are just beautiful, but I am curious, do you use a fixing powder with them since they are creamy? I painted myself the other day with nice result but after a bit of wear, they were all smudged up and smeared. I am determined to figure these babies out. I want to make something really nice so I can send Micheal back showing how I have used their products since they were from the nice prize I got from them.
I searched the forum but didn't see any threads on this, forgive me if I overlooked it. Thank you!

Re: Do you use a fixing powder with Fantasy World Wide?
FWW does sell a fixing powder. But with FWW or Fardel I have never powdered... the will "set" to a tacky finish after some time. I've never had any issues with smudging on my face, nor on the bodies I've painted as I do prefer to use the creams for body painting.
I would suggest using like coloured powders if you want to set - like a pink shimmer powder on top of pink, etc. Regular powders will make the colours look chaulky.

Thanks Shannon I'll try that. I will also practice more with them without powder. I know I need to practice since they are different than what I'm used to. I have never seen such beautiful copper and there is a golden purple and blue that are so unusual. I think I will be really happy with them.

They are beautiful and feel amazing - completely forget I am wearing them. They don't get tight and dry and the colours stay bright.
Has the green improved? They were really sea foamy before.

Honestly, I'm not sure about the regular greens yet. I didn't test them out. I did open them and look but I have noticed that what the color looks like in the pot isn't necessarily what they look like on the skin. I have an alien zombie idea, when I do it, I'll give them a go.
