The good news is I am the official face painter for the San Luis Obispo Children's Museum! Very Happy
I have an event next month where they are unveiling their new rocket ship exhibit. I need ideas for things to paint in that theme. I mean, I can do rocket ships and comets, but what cool ideas do you all have?

Congratulations that is TOTALLY AWESOME for you!!! How about planets, you could take a medium blue and paint the face all over and add the galaxy and stars...You could just do star shapes in different colors....you could do martians and the toy story type off aliens too.

great pic.. I agree with the planets and aliens..stars..maybe saturn would be a good planet to paint..its a cool cool planet

Congrats on the gig! Here is a space leg I did for a friend of mine's 5 year old. Perhaps some of this can translate to the face for you.

"Space" was a mixture of a light blue and pearly white. I think orange planets work well with this background.
