face paint ideas with Star Wars Theme

I may get a gig for a little boy's birthday party this month. His favorite is Star Wars and his mom asked if I can do Darth Maul... I have seen that design and am sure I can do it, but does anyone have information or pics on other designs I can be prepared with?

Are you doing full facials or also some cheek art?

My 5 year old has been begging me to paint him all white and make his face into a Storm Trooper mask...but I've yet to tackle that!

Gold face paint for C3PO and maybe an R2D2 with silver, blue and white...black. I'll have to think about it!

Maybe a hairy face for Chewbaca??

I need to work up a full Star Wars cast since I've been getting more birthday party requests. It is inevitable to get a Star Wars theme one! I will post anything I come up with or run across.

thanks so much for the suggestions... yes there will be boys and girls there. Perhaps also some designs from the newest animated star wars? Can't remember the name of it at this time... but there were several interesting looking characters and also a girl jedi trainee... she was an alien of some sort.

I am open to cheek art as well...
usually I need to see it to emulate it.

My friend's son is mad about Star Wars. The female character maybe Asouka (?) and I think it can be adapted to face painting quite easily. I think one of the Wolfe brothers has a Darth Vader or stormtrooper I've seen before...... Sorry can't remember where.

Try googling Star Wars images. It will give you lots of ideas for the different characters.

yes... and quickly because this birthday party is on the 25th... must have time to practice any difficult faces... i am open to half, full and cheek designs... or arm art too....

I'm just good for ideas. I don't have time to paint examples. But I'd suggest googling star wars images and just practicing the faces themselves. The characters all have very recognizable characteristics. Wookies, storm troopers, ewoks, Yoda, Darth, Amadala, R2D2 and C3PO... Print out photos and practice painting them.

Do a night sky forehead design with starships and stars and planets. Practice the big blocky letters used in the credits and title and paint kids' names in them.

There is a Death Star by Raph Fieldhouse on the FACE website - it is here http://www.facepaint.co.uk/index.php?page=face-conference-2009 She won Face Painter of the Year with it. That is a live competition - the theme is annouced and then you have to paint something to fit it! The rest vote (there is a scoring sheet) on all the designs.
