Okay, here's My "Princess Crown..." Flower inspired, but I must tell you all, girls, I'm not the speed queen here--it makes me nervous and "My work tends to be poofy when I'm nervous!" (who knows that line???)
Needless to say, it's not my best--give me 10 and you'll get a gorgeous crown--not my best work 4 sure!

Um...let's see...let's go with something mask related in ART NOUVEAU style. Blow our socks off babe--I know you can do something sick in 5 mins. woo woo PUNKY!!

Say what? Hmm... Google here I come! And I beleive that quote is from It's a Wonderful Life... am I right?

I will do some research to figure out just what ART NOUVEAU style is and will try to get something up by the end of the weekend!

Hmmm..... Okay, Darlene, correct me if I'm wrong, but from what I got from what I learned from the plethora of sites I visited on Google, Art Nouveau is derived from and mimicks plant life such as vines and flowers, originated in France, and is found in design all around us. Assuming I am correct, I think this actually may be fairly easy to do and I should have something posted by Sunday night.

Yes, Art Nouveau is one of my favorite eras--we deal in antiques, and my favorite designer in the WHOLE world is William Morris, although he did a lot of Arts and Crafts era. But he has a lot of inspiration from that. The artist Mucha was all about ARt Nouveau. It's so elegant and beautiful...you'll have fun with it, Punky. Looking forward to a beautiful design!

oooh!!! can't wait to see ART Nouveau

Okay! Here it is! My take on Art Nouveau! I took bits and peices of several different pics I found on Google and mushed them all into my own cohesive design... it took lots of sketches! I decided to keep it simple by using just black and white. This actually took me a little longer than five minutes since I painted on myself and I take longer to do that, but on someone else I could easily do this in like 4-5 minutes. Given more time however I totally would sponge the whole face white, add another side to this design, and paint the lips.



Next I tag Kim to do a 'Wicked' (as in the book and musical) inspired design that isn't cheek art but goes on the face.

wow I'm actually nervous about being up next.. be gentle! Gotta post something so my e-mail updates start up cause they stopped for some reason??

haha i went to see wicked saturday night. it was awesome!!!!... can't wait to see the design kim comes up with.
and Punky that looks fantastic. i just love all the sharp angles and tear drops!
