Hey no advice here. But I must say the design on the girl to the right really flows and fits the face in a way that just seems so natural to her. The arc to the flowers and continued dots just all came together! Wow! What I like about the left on is that you made the upper wings bigger. I just think on butterflies that looks more accurate (yes, I have Lisa YoungJoy to thank for that one!)

Thanks. I kinda took pieces from different designs that I liked and mashed them together. This was the first time I used metallics on my kids. I just wish I had a better camera. The colors are so vibrant in person. Maybe my husband is looking over my shoulder now and buys me one for Christmas. [girl looks over shoulder.....no such luck... Neutral ].

I think the size is fine! How else can we see detail Very Happy

But if you prefer - when you host the photo you get a choice whether you want to leave it as or choose a resize option.

I tend to resize my photos in pixlr.com photo editor first to size (generally 300-400 pixels wide) and then choose the option not to resize.

I wish everyone would stop apologizing for large photos. I can't see details in the smaller photos and what makes face painting awesome is the details!

I agree, my eyes need the larger photos Very Happy

These are beautiful butterflies(and girls)!

Some Pointers:
On that beautiful dark skin, try for darker bolder colors(Metallics rock the dark skin). A great way to get that wispy shaded look: on the edge of your butterfly, take a filbert brush & pull the edge color in while the paint is still wet.

Becxstar had a great youtube video that teaches this.
