My Postcard design
I plan to put these out (instead of brochures or just business cards) in brochure holders around town (preschool, pediatrician, pediatric dentist, coffee houses, dance studio, gymnastics, etc.)
I would love to get some feedback before I order them!!

Re: My Postcard design
They look great. I have done the same thing and received a great response from it. Business cards are too small for photos and the photos are what seem to sell us the most. Hope it works out for you!
Re: My Postcard design
Great idea... maybe add "Follow Me on Facebook" w/ your link. I'm finding FB to be a great tool!
Re: My Postcard design
I agree. It looks great! I think you chose a good variety to show your talents.
Re: My Postcard design
I love it!!!!!!! The text is driving me crazy though!! Why didn't you center all of the text?!?! But I still love it

Re: My Postcard design
That would be cool but I can't figure out how to make a short-to-type link. My FB page link is really long. Besides, I have the FB link and blog link on the website. At the moment, the website sucks. I just put up the essentials because I only had a little time. I'll probably work on it tonight.Psalmbook wrote:Great idea... maybe add "Follow Me on Facebook" w/ your link. Re: My Postcard design
Cool! I'm not going to order too many because I'd rather have more of a variety of models. You can tell who I am, and who my kids are LOL! Hey, if that's your old one, what's your new one?
Re: My Postcard design
I love this, and I have a quick question about the two dragons at the top, if it's ok?
The texture on their cheeks is suspiciously uniform, and I was wondering are you just that compulsive or is it a stencil of some sort that you sponged over? If so, can you tell me what it is and where you got it?
Thanks! Oh, and it's not meant to cast any doubts on your obvious skill by asking--just curious. I've seen people mention them before and thought--aha!--I'll just ask Gina!

Those are nice and bright... and really effective.
Here is my old one - I ran out and re-printed using two different layouts freaturing different specialties.

I'm not offended at all! This is the answer I gave to the same question on the "big problem with dragons. help" thread:
I read somewhere on here that someone used an red net bag (that comes with "Cuties" a.k.a. Clementine tangerines) as a stencil so I saved my last net bag and used a lighter color on a sponge to pounce a couple of times. On the green, I used a lighter green and on the purple I used silver. The only problem with that is my daughter got all obsessed with using the bag as a stencil and used up some paint and a lot of my computer paper to "practice" doing it. LOL!
I also heard that other nets like lingerie bags (available at the dollar store) work well.
Re: My Postcard design
AWESOME! Thank you so much!
I love stuff like this, simple, cheap, and effective yet incredibly good looking!
(wouldn't we *all* love to be described that way?
I get a little overwhelmed with all there is to read here, so I really appreciate the info!

Re: My Postcard design
No problema! I have a habit of getting obsessed with forums so I read a lot of posts. I love this one. It's my favorite of any FP forum I've visited.
Re: My Postcard design
It looks very nice, and I like it centered too. I think the dragons are awesome and are my favorite. I have never tried to use a net like that efore...think I will try it.
Re: My Postcard design
