Postcard -what do y'all think?
Okay, after looking in the marketing section, I did up a postcard instead of a flyer - seems more versatile. Anybody have any suggestions?

Is there enough info? I always want to run off at the mouth (keyboard?) and say more than I should, so I tried to keep this simple.
Other question: the link to my site goes to my front page, which is mostly geared toward FP, but has a prominent image linking to the belly painting section. Do you all think I should have a separate site for belly painting? (Given it is likely to be the more successful endeavor for me than FP is, or at least I hope.) Is it too confusing?

Re: Postcard -what do y'all think?
It looks awesome, but do you have a big enough target list? Might this serve you better if it showed face and belly painting. In general, a 1-3% return rate on marketing is considered good so calculate that out by your costs vs. how many jobs you need to get to see if it will be cost effective. You may want to consider some less expensive, though not spam, email marketing. You'll save on the printing and the postage and trees.
I know printing these and then the postage is going to be pricey so you'll want to get the most bang for your buck.
But, we all ears on how you plan to market this.

Re: Postcard -what do y'all think?
I'm not planning on mailing them out, actually. I mainly just wanted something larger than a business card that I could leave on the bulletin boards at OBGYN offices, birth centers, La Leche chapters, etc, at least until I can get some idea of what the demand is like. Between my own footwork, a few friends, and some exposure at the local consignment sales and pregnancy/birth networks, I think I may get enough business to get a foothold before I spend a fortune. Planning to hit craigslist, etc, as well, of course.
I live near Orlando where the FP market is saturated, which was one of the things that drove me to consider other avenues. That's why I didn't include anything about it on these cards - belly painting being a specialized niche. I figure if they go to the website and go, "oh, look, she facepaints, too", it's all good, but it's not my target with these particular cards.
eta: I just thought of leaving these with or mailing a few to local photographers, as well. So many of them do maternity shoots.
I have zero experience in marketing myself, so I'm just throwing stuff at the wall to see if it sticks. I can't actually do much of anything for a few months anyway since I'm having a baby myself any day now...hardly the time to book any sessions. Just brainstorming really.

I think it's gorgeous. It might be worth registering another domain name just for your bellies & directing it to your belly page.
I think you've said the right amount - tells exactly what you do & how to contact you.
Another thought I had, was on the back side of the postcard you could add that you also do face painting or any more info that you want to add.

I think it is absolutely stunning!!!
I don't know if these are done all over or only in Canada, but here the Welcome Wagon people regularly hold baby shower events aimed at people expecting babies, featuring local businesses. I don't know if there is a charge to be a part of it, but it would be great exposure aimed directly at the demographic you are interested in and your postcards would be a lovely gift-bag item!
I couldn't find any info for it in the U.S. but here is a link to the Canadian site:

It's beautiful! I agree, putting it on OBGYN's boards & at birthing centers is a great idea. I've emailed all of them here & am hoping for an in that way. Yoga places are also good as well as anywhere mommies sit around... Little Gyms, etc.

They are really pretty! I was wondering what program you used? If photoshop, I'd suggest you put a stroke around the Title letters--it'll really make them pop. Here's a card I did for my neice, so you can see what I mean.
