Re: Help!!! Ladybug
Nice work Tash looks great above the eye. I also just use my name on my business cards & answer the phone 'Goodmorning Mandi speaking' (or afternoon or evening) I found I needed to start doing this when I was getting so many more face painting calls.

Re: Help!!! Ladybug
I love the ladybug! I just find it interesting that Gary Cole would say that all colors are safe for use anywhere but I just got some Snaz paints and they come with the direct warning not to put red near the eyes. That is probably what would count for insurance purposes if someone had a bad reaction.

Re: Help!!! Ladybug
I have used Snazaroo red to do monster faces and have never had any issues, I have tried them with my own children. Snazaroo is actually sold with the children's items at some stores, and is the only paint that I am aware of that is sold as safe for children to play with directly. Kids are not going to pay attention to warning labels. That said I have never put lots of paradise or Wolfe red on the eyes. But, I do use the rainbow cakes the arty cakes on the eyes. They have red and orange in them. I never had any complaints, have painted this design on my daughter numerous times, and I think that it is Wolfe paints in the Arty Cakes. I also have used blue and green on the lips and never had anyone's lip stay stained blue or green.
I would be really interested to know if this is something that the FDA requires them to print as a precautionary thing. I am really interested in the blue and green on the lips because, I painted those colors forever on the lips with Snazaroo but noticed that paradise has a warning...is it the formulas of the paint? I don't want to take a chance on someone having an issue...Eyes are pretty important things I just sort of figured that Snazaroo was safe for most things but not the ones with the warning labels saying not to use them. I looked all through my paint and did not see any warnings on my snazaroo paints but, I have had them for a bit maybe it has been tossed away or something.

Re: Help!!! Ladybug
I have heard that Snazaroo has the child safety rating because of it's packaging & nothing is very special or different about the paints. Does anyone know if this is true? Just curious if it's all Snaz hype & great marketing on their part
Re: Help!!! Ladybug
Hhmmm, that would be interesting to know. I was told they do have the best marketing by another distributor. How can we find this out? Surely there is someone on here that probably already has this info for us?

I never had an issue with Snaz red either.
I've done that cute ladybug design on my daughter and a few others before; as well as using red for monster, fire, blood eyes...etc. and "Thank God" I've never ever had an issue using Snaz. (but it doesn't hurt for me to keep this all in mind .... thanks for all the input everyone).
