I thought it was a good idea when I started...by the next day, not so much.

What I wanted to do was give the impression that the lady bug had tracked across my daughter's face...what I got was what looked like trekking lady bug with incontinence issues. Would simply adding a parallel row of dots fix this design?

I second the picture thing.

Are you like doing dots or dashes?

If you make them more like dashes than dots that might help.

Hi Lady Jayde,

Try white dots in stead of black : )

Thanks ladies,

I'm going to try the white Michelle, I like that it would soften it up a bit.

6 legs? well, I guess I could say that my lady bug is peg legged...I guess...

I guess I'd better research what lady bug tracks look like...

cute! Smile if you want another alternative, maybe try red glitter in place of the dots or dashes?

Shannon! I almost dropped my freebin laptop because of you! I wasn't prepared for your response and it slid off my lap (because when I laugh, my dimples jiggle) and I just caught it! lol!

What I meant...ahem...was should I get some glitter gel.

I can't .... that was freakin' hilarious, I'm sorry, but man, that was funny!
I'm about to WET my pants...get THAT mixed up if you want to, but I'm not responsible for anyone's mental trauma.

I'd probably draw them really small as a part of a design, but in this instance, my daughter wanted one a cheek art and I had not idea what to do with the bug I'd put on her cheek.

Not really helping with the tracks but... I like to use allo jell and put iddy bidddy goggle eyes on my lady bugs (not on under 5's) every one thinks its sooooo cute and I get to do a really easy design.

Also I think the glitter gel idea would rock. Or you could do what they do with buzzy bees and do the line with the loop in it, like in Pooh Bear.
