The ladybug "foreverhappy" bellypaint

Inspired by a Danish children song about a ladybug getting caught in the rain, but finding shelter at Soren the Snail. She likes it so much there that she end as Mrs. Snail.

I chickened out on an opp. to do a belly. I just can't get past it for some reason!

Metina, you can always try on your own belly first. Sure it is not as rounded as a pregnant one, but you still get a feeling for the space. Here is one I did on myself a long time ago


Linda, the song is something like (I did not try to make it rhyme):
The ladybug Foreverhappy was taking a walk on a rheum leaf
and meet Soren the snail that was sleeping with his shell on

Then it became rain and thunder and Foreverhappy got wet feed
Therefore she knocked on the shells little roof

And the snail yelled loud COME IN in shelter from thunder, rain and wind
There is a bit small as you see, but there is warm and dry in here

Then they both sad and laughed in Sorens little snail home
And if I am not mistaken Foreverhappy is now Ms. Snail

Oh, so sweet! I can't practice on my belly... it's had 5 babies in it & the skin is now "vintage" to the extreme
