Tonight will be the first time I've done a gig WITHOUT a display board. I'm gonna wing it!!

So say a prayer for the poor folks sitting in my chair!

You'll do great!!!
I ditched the display board & love the op to be creative. If you end up w/ a lot of btterflies, try to do them different each time.

I was terrified of not using a display board, but now I will never go back! It give awesome flexibility with time to do as much or as little detail that you have time for, but even more, it gives you the opportunity to something different. It challenges me to be more original and more creative in my painting instead of having a bunch of faces that everyone has seen before.

I was a little scared the first time I went sans a menu, but now it's the preferred method. It's like flexing the "creativity muscle."

You'll be fine and have less stuff to lug. If you are still needing something, put together a small binder that they person waiting in line.

Well, I did it! And I didn't explode and no one walked away unhappy! So all in all, it was good.

Of course I was at a restaurant and painted mostly cow faces (their mascot).

But I did get to be creative with a few older girls and their eye designs! cheers

Good job! I usually bring a board, but think I'm about ready to let it go because I have so much more flexibility when I forget it.
