First baby belly painting!!
Hey everyone,
Well, I got to do my very first belly painting! It turned out OK!! I had a hell of a time with the blending, it is much harder on the belly than on the face, paint drys so quick. She wanted a sunset with lions, so this is what i did. My inspiration came from a recently shown belly painting with the elephants. She is going to let me get a hold of her again before she pops, and I get to do whatever I want next time, hmmmmm. Hope you all like it.

The bellypaint with the elephants was mine.
I also had trouble with blending the colors.
Yours is also well done, beautiful lions!

Re: First baby belly painting!!
Anita, I like yours with the elephants way better than mine, I think I should have made the lions bigger. How did you get yours so well blended? I really had a hell of a time and was still not happy with it.
Re: First baby belly painting!!
I think the proportions are just fine, especially after you added the clouds. Nicely done. I still have never done one. No one around me has been pregnant and done know if I have the nerve.
Well done.
Well done.

Looks fantastic for your first one!! Just imagine what they'll be like when you've done a few.

The yellow is a mix of Eulenspiegel goldgelb and DFX gold, melded into the orange-Perlglanz of Eulenspiegel and then melded into the DFX red.
The sun is only Goldgelb of Eulenspiegel.
I use this make-up things for blending.
It looks like the velvet of a smooty blender.
And then summon by blotting the paint.
once you start sweeping, the lower layer goes off

Anita,
That thing is called a powder puff in English. What a 'stroke' of genius! I guess you can cover larger areas with that. Do you use several for different colors. How do you operate that thing?! I am interested to know ...
BK,
The lions are simply amazing. You managed to make them look like they are moving, I had to go back and compare photos to make sure they had not shifted!
The best part is that you are FAR more critical of your own work than others will be!

There is a sponge inside, the edges are not glued but hemmed.
Make him a little wet and use it as a normal facepaint sponge.
You must yield the makeup by blotting.
They are also machine washable.
