baby belly Empty baby belly

my first baby on a belly...noticed some things afterwards...but i always do...such a critic...leave on the right should not curl over the other one and forgot some black on the butterflywing...

the parents were thrilled by it....they loved it...

you are right, Linda...but I drew a drawing of this before I made it...and there the leaves didn't overlap ...but as I said I'm my own biggest critic!

the parents don't notice such things and they were very very pleased with it...

I love it and that says a lot considering I usually don't like the bellies with a painting of a baby on them. I always think the babies look funny, but yours looks so beautiful, peaceful, and pleasant all curled up in mommies belly. Great job! You're so talented.

thanks so much!...I never painted a baby before..so I googled for lovely babies and anne geddes wallpapers..this was the example and the drawing i made....I always looks different though...

I love Anne Geddes, I wanted to do one like hers but I just could not figure out how to paint a baby (wish I could could paint humans), I ended up doing one fully wrapped in a bud Smile

Your baby is beautiful(I also think most babies turn out looking creepy). They are very hard to draw compared to adults because their distinguishing features & proportions are not developed yet.

You did a fantastic job! It's easy to see why the parents loved it! Tons of people are their our own worst critics .... that's what makes us go after "perfection" in our field (no matter what field that may be). BTW -- I only know of one perfect person, and it's DEFINITELY not me! Be the best you can be, and be happy to be who you are.
