New Baby Belly

I'm wanting to do some belly art but not to sure if I can come up with some nice desings, worth a go tho I suppose.

I LOVE this type of art, but every pic I see the mom has her shirt pulled up and she isn't pictured. I am trying to figure out how nicely just a pic of someone's belly could be framed.

From a memory point of view, it almost seems like a body paint would be a bit better.

How do we better capture this memory for the mom's and babies. Please take no offense, just trying to start a meaningful discussion.

I take some of the mom with her shirt pulled up face included for her....and then I use the ones with 'just the belly' for my website or people to see the artwork.

I'm waiting on the photos this was just the one from my phone-she couldn't sit long had to keep it simpe.

I guess I was just thinking about black backgrounds and drapery or something. Feather boas or fake greenery depending on the designs.

Unfortunately our boobs go crazy when we get pregnant and don't photograph well.

Would love to see the final photos.

This painting is so great and what a great looking belly Mum has!

She had a perfect belly ah to be young again. I am planning a belly - still waiting for it to grow more in the full nude view. She is really tiny so it should really be all belly. I really like the black and white photos with just the color on the belly - we'll see what I do in photoshop when I get the photos back. I just really adore painting on a living moving belly.

Metina, I know of one painter who body paints the mom-to-be. Heather Agularia(sp?). She'll be doing a belly class at FABAIC.
I'm still looking for a belly to paint.
