Looking to beef up my kit!
And I have questions!!
Right now all I have in my kit is Snaz. I live in Georgia, so they melt. And fast. I really do not want to lug a cooler packed with ice this summer. Do Paradise, Wolfe and Diamond melt in the heat, or should I go with liquid paints??
For neon/UV paints which are the best?? (I want something that shows up with and without the black light)
So far I think the only thing I have made my mind up on are DFX metalics.
Thanks in Advance!

DFX metallics are great... get the neons also... They also show up under black light!!
DFX has never melted for me in the sun
the forum shop has free shipping so this is the best place to get it all...
I have every color of DFX and I love them

Re: Looking to beef up my kit!
I have mostly Wolfe paints a few Paradise and black DFX for details. I have never had them to melt from the heat and I am in Southeastern NC. I just purchased a bunch of Snazaroo...I got it cheap and was hoping to use it more as a marketing tool, so that I could say that I used "child safety rated" paints. I forgot about the heat!!!! OMG....LOL
Re: Looking to beef up my kit!
First off, ALL of the major brands of face paint are kids safe. They are all FDA approved and safe to use on children 3 and up. BUT, I have heard of reactions from ALL brands of face paint including Snaz. I believe it is the person that is more sensitive to certain brands rather than one brand being safer than the other.
I have almost all of the major bands of face paint in my kit because I believe that it is best to have the paint and colors you love and work best with in your kit to be the best painter you can be.
I wouldn't say to toss the Snaz but think creatively. Things you can do.
1. Use Snaz as your practice/jam paint since this is done inside.
2. Trade it on the swap shop to those living in cooler climates
3. Invest in a tent to help control the heat
4. Buy a bettery operated fan, though this will dry the paint out quickly as well.
5. Go to the dollar store and find the boo boo packs for kids. They are round and about 4" in diameter and not thick at all. Come in colorful colors and cheap.
6. Make sure to insure a shady spot or paint inside during the summer.
At the end of the day, all of the paints have some essential colors in it that will NEVER make me want a kit of all one brand, but this is something you have to work out for yourself.
Good Luck!

Re: Looking to beef up my kit!
I live in Florida right next to the Everglades, where it is hot and humid most of the time, but my paradise has yet to melt on me. So I would definitely suggest that you get some and try it out.
