Where's the beef?

So I feel like this could be a stupid question but I can't find the "where's the beef" topic board anymore? Did it just disappear? Am I crazy and its right there?

So I have just realised you can only see that board if you are logged in? Interesting

otherwise the snarkiness may put people off. it does me anyway, too much negativity, unprofessional.

True, but this is where we can let it hang out for laughs, & do some venting--since we all know better than to do it in public--and we feel secure in our sympathetic & understanding audience!

The Beef section is my favoritest!
I love reading those stories because that's how I know I'm not the only smart@$$ in the group!

I like the Beef thread and the Eye-Twitch Moments one. More than once it's made me think of how I would handle similar situations. I feel like I"m more prepared. Yeah.. that's my reasoning...

I am the kind of person who is usually left saying, "You come back here in half an hour when I can think of something SMART to say!" in the face of adversity.
The "Where's the Beef section" has prepared me with a bevvy of smart, sassy comebacks in the face of inanity, and insanity. Other face painters have cloaked me in an invisible time cloak that pushes my brain ahead half an hour.

Fesspenter I feel that way too! I have come up with all of my clever responses for silly questions (e.g. Did you paint your own face?)from you guys.

I answered the "So how long have you been painting?" question the other day with the typical , "Since 10, so only a couple of hours" with such a straight face the other day, it completely shut the conversation down...and I could go back to concentrating on having fun with my little person. I think it was the first time I have actually stopped the conversation from going forward--thanks, gang!

Love that Anniel  I had one on sunday just gone about whether or not I do parties, after she took a card that has the words "we do parties!" on it. My number one question from adults this weekend was "Do you do parties?" I want to say " No I work my butt off at this market every week and hand out business cards just to waste trees and paint"

My dad gets the "Did you paint these yourself?" when he shows his oil paintings. Keep in mind this is when he's sitting in a tent surrounded by paintings, with his photo displayed, an about the artist bio, and at some shows he'll be drawing in a sketchpad!

Sometimes he'll respond by saying, "No, we ship them in from China."
