Do any of you get hired for the Relay for Life? If so, then what are your terms?

I don't--but I would think their terms are specific with the local market?

I donate a percent, which is agreed upon, prior to the event.

Like 10%, 20%? Do you donate to a team or the organization over all?

I donate to the event, not a team, so I guess it's the organization.
And my percentage varies, depending upon the event.
I have done anywhere from 10%-30%.
And I usually keep a materials fee and a travel fee off the top, before my percent begins.

I just volunteered to do a relay for life last weekend in exchange for for someone watching my kids, feeding them, and letting them go in the bouncy houses. Smile Then again, I'm a cancer survivor, so it felt good to give back... I would have given a monetary donation anyhow. I'll be following this though, because I'm tempted to do a lot of fundraisers since I'm just starting out and can use the photos/word of mouth, but it does cost me in supplies and I'm ready to start making some money!
