Question about hair? Empty Question about hair?

Post by Kal Wed Sep 17, 2014 7:36 am

I've got an appointment to do an "Ursula" for Halloween. I am really excited about it! The hair is puzzling me though. How can I get dark hair to look white temporarily. Are there good products to do this with? Can it be painted? If yes then does it have to be styled first? All input appreciated Smile

I personally tried white hair spray paint (the stuff at walmart) and wasn't impressed with it--the other colors did ok, but only last about 4 hours!! Can you just experiment with white facepaint in the hair?

Jerome Russell brand is pretty good (Walgreens carries it,-- charge the client--it's like $6-7 dollars a can I think. Buy 2 and if you have leftovers in the lst can, leave it with them for touch-ups, otherwise, give them the 2nd can). Yes, I would style lst, then spray.

try googling it, looks like it's a liquid and comes with a brush. on the mehron site the ingredients have acrylates, which i think is the stuff in hairspray and sculpting/stiffening products?

might be some youtube videos, too.

Mehron Hair White is a liquid makeup, simply brush and comb it in. You could also use colored hair sprays. I love Kryolan's because the quality make it so usable, coverage is great, not stiff, and washes out well. Too there is Graftobian very good hair sprays...and right now you might find the stiffer cheapo stuff on Halloween shelves.

Clown White light works as well, in a pinch.
