Consent forms for using photos online

I am in the process of setting up a Facebook page to advertise my Facepaint business...terrified! My question is, do those of you who post photos on websites or FB pages use consent forms for the childrens photos? I work in an Early Learning Centre and have been very fourtunate to have the opportunity to have a steady stream of faces to practise on! My Stock pile of photos are mainly my neices, nephews and the children from work. I do not want to post any without consent, and have been playing around a bit with some different forms I am putting together.

I use a Minor Model Release form that I found and tweaked off the internet. If the model is under 18, then the parents need to give the permission to post the images. I'm sure you could post the images of your family without any grief, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Lately i have been casually asking the parents if they mind if i post the picture.. so far they all say yes and if they somehow have an issue with it later, i can take it down.

I know if someone really wanted to push the issue, there could be a lawsuit. but i'm in Atlantic Canada, we don't sue quite as much
