The Wave Brush Holder Face_310

Here is the picture..of The Wave brush holder...from Think Art, LLC

My review.
Love that the brushes stay straight up.

has some weight to it...wont tip over.

Comes in colors I picked black since I figured it would stay looking nice and clean.

Runs around 20.00

What I didn't like and not sure if I will keep using it or just use it for make up brushes...

I thought since there are different levels the brushes would sit at different heights....they dont exactly the holes are the same depth on each step.

I think I would like a few holes that are a little bigger on the front level...

Overall its pretty cool.

What would happen if you cut down your brushes that sit in the front by 1/2"?

Is it hollow all the way or sectioned? Can you put something in the back rows - like rice, so the brushes sit higher? Just brainstorming.

Dear Shannon Fennell:
The bottom view of the brush holders shows that each brush hole is like a separate test tube.
The rice sounds like a very sensible solution.

If each hole is a self contained tube, squirt a bit of caulking in each hole and let it dry, or, a bit of rice covered by white glue to seal it... almost anything that would harden dry (and waterproof so you don't have to worry about cleaning it).

I was going to suggest similar, or pouring a varying amount of latex milk into each hole (using a thin funnel-like thing to make sure it all goes to the bottom) so that the holes are more shallow.

I was thinking the same thing actually...I did that with my ice cube tray added some cotton balls....the only thing that would happen adding to the brush inserts...it will make the brush touch the other brushes...the bottom of the tubes have a sort of indent that keeps the brushes upright...I did cut a few brushes down for the front row...its kinda weird working with a short stubby brush..hehe. I am gonna use it for a few more gigs and see how it goes..will keep posted..either way my daughter wants it for her Make Up brushes...it works really good for that!

I think I like that better than the ice cube tray! I love that it is black...

What are the measurements for the holder? I looked on the site but it didn't say. I am trying to compare it's size to my icetube holder to see how it would fit in my fatmax...
