Hello from South NJ

Hey!

My name is JoAnna aka JZino (my first initial and the last four letters of my crazy long Italian lastname). I am a traditional artist who accidentally fell into the world of body art. I have been body painting since Jan '08 but I've only recently begun to take a serious interest in face painting. I heard about this forum from Robbie Hay, I don't know if she's a member or not but if you're here, Hiiii!!! I attended Bodyssey this past April and was totally blown away by the talent in the industry.
My weapon of choice is Kryolan. I travel frequently to Western New York, I love it there. The pizza is good too.
My boyfriend is my partner in crime, he makes an excellent line manager. Apparently we're a good team, photographers or parents tend to mistakenly refer to him as my husband.
There's a lot of really awesome information and great ideas on this forum, I can tell I'm going to be busy reading through posts for the next few days.
I don't know what other randomness I can put here.

Stellar work in your portfolio, both on the painting and the photography! Very impressive! I've been thinking about bodypainting, as I've never tried it before, and find it rather intimidating. But your work is rather inspiring, very different than some of the other stuff I've seen. Kudos!

JZeno aka Joanna! Welcome to the forum!!! YAY! We are really growing. After all the face is just another part of the body.
Loved your work - the dimensional aspect is really creative, glitter(is that on latex or glue?), sprinkles(on the icecream), gold detail (on the music piece) and the cosmic piece is nice. Great photography and editing and beautiful models! Kudos!!!
