hope i did this slideshow o.k. and the link shows up, wasn't sure how else to do this. I'm not very computer literate!! And my DH wasn't home to help!! Anyway, here is my steam punk inspired sugar skull.

Unfortunately links to other sites are not allowable for competitions. You should be able to go in and find a link to the slideshow that is not related to facebook and post it. I tried to find it and couldn't.

You might try image loop as well. Just don't want you to be excluded from the voting. Also, you will have to post a final pic seperate from the slide show as well.

Here is my steam punk inspired sugar skull. wish my lines were a little better, but oh well.

Tools:
brushes: round #3, liner, shader #2, shader #20, sponges

Paints: Diamond FX white, black, silver and gold pearls and paradise storm cloud

step 1: base in white and silver around eyes
step 2: base in chain in storm cloud gray
step 3: details on chain in black
step 4: base gears on top of head in black
step 5: add DFX gold to black gears
step 6: add DFX black details to eyes for goggles and add magnifier above eye
step 7: using DFX red, paradise gray and DFX silver to base in clock on chin
step 8: using black and white add details to clock and add gears and key to cheeks
step 9: add gold to key and more details to gears on cheek and do lips and stitch lines
step 10: add extra gears to side of face and bottom of face with black and gold

oh yes!! finally got my post right!! LOL I really need to get more computer literate!! LOL

wow! love all the parts and especially the chain! nothing wrong with those lines! those tiny parts are very crisp..

Wow. So many great entries. I love the eyelashes and teeth on Rantzau's and steam punk is just generally awesome, so you can't go wrong there.

I used: White Wolf Brothers, Black Wolf Brothers, Red Wolf Brothers, and Metalic Withe wolf brothers paints.
Brushes: Flat 3/4 brush, Round #4 brush, Round #00 brush, and DB-8 Petal Ben Nye brush.

Sophie, I've been looking around, and I can see what you mean! I'm going to investigate and see if there is another free program that we could all use in the future.

Figured it out in PhotoBucket.
Materials: Paradise Colors: Black, lt. Brown, Dark Brown, light Blue, Royal Blue, Yellow, lt. Pink, Dark Pink, Beachberry.
Tag Bronze. Wolfe white. Self-made split- Paradise dark brown, royal blue, turquoise.
Sponge, My favorite small round brush(#4 I think), 3/4 inch flat brush
