Re: Post Here!
Rae You hit it. Everything is right about it, color, flowers, letters, black swirls. Really great design.
Inca, yours is also very, very beautiful with the cute rabbits and the flowers and the colours you choose. Great!
I only watched this page, so I didn't comment on the entries on the first page. I experienced that when I go to another page, my text will disappear.
So, posting this now and then take a look at page 1.

Re: Post Here!
OK page 1
Kleeophea, scary blood dripping face ha ha. Do you like painting on a head? I have one, but don't like the blending. Your blending on this head is much better.
Kim, beautiful. I like the tribal look of your letters in the first and how they are mixed into each other (mixed isn't the right word for what I mean, but I hope you get what I'm trying to say?). The other ones are also great.
Mizzzard, love your sleeping boy. kids are so cute while asleep haha. Also love your wall. Very creative thinking and like how you put the details in.

Re: Post Here!
I was sitting around and thought I'd give this a try... I <3 graffiti.
Tools: Round brush 5, Flat brush 3/4 inch
Paints: Paradise: Lime, Wild Orchid and Yellow
Wolfe: Black and White
Step one: Double load the 3/4 flat brush with green and purple. Lay these down in a funky way you want your letters.
Step two: Take a round brush loaded with yellow and add some to different spots where you'd like to put them. I focused on the edge of the green, tried to stay away from the purple since its an opposite color and would make brown. I then smudged with my fingers to blend it a bit.
Step three: Load a round brush with black and outline your letters.
Step four: Load a round brush with white and make "highlights". I focused on curvy portions that I thought would look good "shiny". Add starbursts and dots to make it more "sparkly".
Step five: With the round brush with white, outlines the whole thing. Touch up places you think it might need it.
Step six: Take the round brush loaded with black and add more to places that might need it. Like the circles in the O and the E seemed to need it to me.
Step seven: Put some gold sparkle on it and enjoy!

Re: Post Here!
Ok here I go....(Im a wee bit nervous after seeing some of yours!)
Step One: Painted out name in tag neon magenta with #4 lucky art flat brush.
Step Two: Blend dfx metallic purple to outer edges of letters using same brush as step one.
Step Three: Bold outline with dfx neon yellow around the whole image using # 12 flat.
Step Four: Outline neon yellow with dfx neon green with #4 royal fan brush for blending.
Step Five: Outline neon green with dfx dark green using brush from step one. Add round bubbles on outermost edges going from large to small. Using the same brush add paint drips. Wet the brush further and add paint splatters by flicking the brush.
Step Six: Add highlights with dfx white using #4 round.
Step Seven: Outline everything in dfx black using the same brush in step six. Add crown and other details around the letters.
Supplies are listed in the steps above, and picture below:)

Re: Post Here!
Boy, this is different from doing lettering with a pen! I was thinking of doing my older daughter's name, but it's been done by Kim already (Paige). So I did my younger daughter's name. I'm not entirely happy with the result, and may do another, but it was fun. Not too much to say about the SBS process, but I used Tag pearl sky blue, Tag pearl pink, dfx blue, Tag black and Wolfe white.
Re: Post Here!
I am having too much fun, Here is my second go
I used:
DFX : white, black, red, teal, yellow, orange
Tag: berry wine
brushes: round 5,1
flat 1/2"
filbert 4, 6

Re: Post Here!
didn't see this until now; great work!
Nice how everybody uses their names.
I also used to draw a lot of graffitti's at school. Don't know if I want to enter this contest. I'm not as good as the above!

Re: Post Here!
What a talented paints here... I remember making 3-d letters and "Top-Pop" letters on highschool. Saved my schoolagenda's and they are full of it.
If I have the time and find a nice design I'll give it a try.
