Re: Post Here!
I am really enjoying seeing all of your beautiful work. I just learned how to post pics, so this is my first post (yay!) I was trying out some grafitti of my own this week, and decided to share. Be gentle!
Sorry the quality may be a little poor. Photography is NOT my strong suit!

Re: Post Here!
Here is my go! I'm loving all the graffiti pictures! I forgot to add a babywipe to my supplies list This was my first time adding text in PhotoBucket. Much more difficult than I had expected, so if you have trouble reading something and want to know what it says let me know

Sorry about the huge picture, I thought I picked a smaller one

Re: Post Here!
So I finally got this one done! I tried to do an imageloop but it apparently doesn't offer that anymore - argh!
Tools: Size 2, 3 and 4 brushes, sponge
Paint: TAG regular lilac, TAG pearl lilac, TAG dark lilac, TAG Neon Purple, Diamond FX pink, Diamond FX White, Diamond FX black, TAG Sea Green (turquoise), TAG red
Directions:
Step 1: using a split cake of FX pink, TAG regular lilac, TAG pearl lilac, TAG dark lilac, and TAG Neon Purple sponge in circular motion onto face with pink in the center and purples along the outside edges.
[img][/img]
Step 2: Using #4 brush and FX white, outline design of Peace fingers and words 'PEACE' in tight uniform style onto face. Start to fill in fingers with TAG sea green (turquoise) and fill in words using TAG purple and FX Pink. Continue to fill in words using a combination of pink and purple to create division of letters.
[img][/img]
Step 3: Outline words in black going thickly on outside of words with #3 brush and more thinly on interior with #2 brush. Outline fingers using #3 and #2 respectively and create wrinkle lines along knuckles.
[img][/img]
Step 4: Draw PEACE sign around edges of design using #4 brush, fill in with FX Black. Start to highlight random areas with FX White and #2 brush. Make curved righ triangles along words to create bubble look.
[img][/img]
Step 5: take the same Sea Green turquoise and create little dots around exterior of peace sign, words and hand, start close to the edge of the item and do many dots right next to eachother starting to trail down to create a dripping look. Create stars using FX White with a #2 brush. Go back over same stars in black for highlights.
Step 6: Fill a #4 brush with extra water and sea green/turquoise paint and hold away from face and tap or slap with finger to create splatter affect, do this all over the design.

Re: Post Here!
i luv this design lorrin!!! i think it is absolutely fantastic that you did a graffiti on the face. clever u!
My first entry ever
I finally decided to take the plunge. It's not great, but it's different. I sure don't expect to win but I had fun doing it.
My supplies were: DFX black, DFX white, DFX gold, Tag yellow and Paradise Amazon Green. I also used a little snaz light brown but I covered that up with the DFX gold.
My brushes were: round #4, 2, 10/0 liner and a #6 flat
first I wrote out my name in DFX black with a round #4
Then I added the centers of the flowers, first in Snaz light brown but I didn't like it so I went over it in DFX gold with a #2 round brush.
Then I used TAG yellow and a #6 flat to make the flower petals.
I also used the #6 flat to make the petals with Paradise amazon green.
Then I did the outlines with a 10/0 liner and DFX black. Not proud of my linework here. Also added the black dots.

This is the final picture. I used the same liner to add some highlights in DFX wihte and some more dots in white.

Re: Post Here!
wow--this has been amazing! You are all so talented! I didn't have a lot of time to do this challenge, and not sure I'd even entered, I'm so intimidated by all of your talent!!!! GREAT jobs!
Re: Post Here!
I'm with you Darlene! I loved this challenge ,even though I did not enter. I have an idea in my head to do on my husbands back. If I ever do it, I will post a pic as, inspired by the graffiti challenge. Gonna be hard to vote.
