Re: Post Away!
Love the design, the Celtic knots are beautiful!
Here is mine. A few weeks ago I was thinking that Lisa Joy Young's halloween witch hat design could be adapted to a number of holidays.....so I did a quick version of this for the small Jam I organize here.
This can be done quickly for events and parties.
Gold and orange blended together on the eyelids. Using snake or leaf split cake do a quick hat above the brow bone.
Use a BAMS with gold paint to add some texture to the hat.
Using paradise black, line around the hat and drag blend. Add hat band.
Use black to do line work for eye design, I switched to wolfe for this. Use gold glitter gel to add buckle to the hat.
Dip a paintbrush in water, wipe off excess, then dip into green glitter. Press the glitter into black linework to accent.

Re: Post Away!
Beautiful Princess, Merida...er, Krissiemarie. Liz, if you told me you could make a Leprecaun's hat glamorous, I'd have disagreed, but not now!!!
Luck o' the Eighties!
I call this one "Luck o' the Eighties!" Lucky My Little Pony and the Lucky Care Bear have teamed up with the Lucky Charms guy to reach the gold at the end of the rainbow! ;-)
First I drew it with a white makeup pencil.
...then did the greens, adding highlights, shadows and glitter.
other colors, and outlines...I used some Liquid Bling to make the purple horseshoe on the pony and the gold buckles on "Lucky Charms guy."
Rainbow and gold!

Re: Post Away!
You know, I am kicking myself for not timing it! Time really slips away from me when I'm painting! But I think it was around 30-40 minutes or so.

Re: Post Away!
Krissiemarie, your princess is so adorable and so perfect on YOU!!
Liz, I love your hat. What a cool idea to do a twist on the witch hat. You could totally make a Santa hat, maybe a pair of bunny ears for Easter, a party hat for a birthday or new years...so versatile!!

Re: Post Away!
Here is my entry - the celtic faerie! accompanied by some flairs and fancies inspired by celtic knots and such!
TAG greens (pearls and regular) FAB gold shimmer, TAG orange, TAG teddy bear OS, Wolfe back and white...

Die-cut Clover
I have a question on what counts as original... but I wanted to post my entry anywhoos. I found an image online, and I mimic'd it a bit. (but not exactly)
Lay down the green outline
Put in the white cut outs
Fill the green (I liked it best like this)
Add silver glitter to the white points, and a gold glitter outline (I need better glitter application, what I have is messy and not effective.)

Re: Post Away!
Love, love, love them all!!! You are all so inspiring!! Today I did a little less cute-sy one. I wanted to do this on my husband's back but got tired of waiting for him to be convinced. ;-) So, again I apologize you must look at my thigh. ;-) I'd call him a "Luck Dragon" but everybody knows the REAL luck dragon is from Never Ending Story and he is PINK. So this is my take on some kind of lucky Celtic gold-breathing dragon. I used Kryolan neons and other colors, Wolfe black and some Wolfe metallics. I used 2 BAM stencils on this one...BAM1000 for the gold texture on the wings, and BAM2007 for the "scales" which is actually like a little clover pattern...
