Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
I usually line the white eyes - just around the top... I only go under for older kids or adults. Don't know if it helps you or not - all comes down to preferences -
I like to practice the tiger markings going from thin to thick to thin again.
Here's a pic so you can see what I'm talking about.
It's not the best - I was in a rush.

Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
I love your tiger-style, Peacymango. Just practice your linework... and have lots of confidence when you are painting. (easier said than done, I know! But, it makes a difference!)
Some folks twirl or spin the brush as they come out of a line... like rotate as you lift, which helps the brush hairs re-form into a nice point again to get a good thin line again as you finish the stroke.

I like to spin & twirl as I'm painting from thick to thin & let the lines "make themselves." It works for a cool effect.
Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
I did my 1st Zebra. Now, I did do it from memory... I'm looking for a some advice on making it better. Oh, and the girl's friend called her & she turned her head while I was working on the eye, so I had to "fix" it. I know it looks bad.
Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
Cute design!! I would clean up the white with a wet wipe though, so that you have a crisper edge. I would also make the stripes a little more pointed at both ends, the way tiger stripes are. I was taught that your lines should be similar to a plane landing and taking off. All in all it looks pretty good. Did you use black starblend for the nose??
Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
I had a very fidgity model & 45 kids to paint(oh, and 2 parents almost getting into a brawl:-)
I used paradise white, paradise black for the nose & dfx black for the linework.

Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
I here that. I did a festival where I painted over 200 kids and by the end it was just FAST FACES!!!
Parents can be so rued sometimes. Not a fun experience

Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
I still need to work on the muzzle, but pretty pleased with it. The stripe connecting the nose and mouth is thick b/c she moved, but she still loved it.
Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
I was just messing around before going to bed. It looked much better in person!! Why is it that my photos never do it justice?? Maybe I should have my eyes examined!!!

Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
Hmmm I will say add more orange to the tiger..and on the purple one I think you should give it a shape of an asymmetrical mask, so you can pop up the flowers on the side, add the lips and Voila!!! (IMHO)

Re: Constructive Feedback!!!
Very nice. You've got good linework.
On the dots on your tiger. Use more paint on your brush & stagger their size. This will give more dimension. If you're painting for kids, stop the design at the lips. Anything below the nose usually gets ruined quickly, so you don't want a lot of paint there.
On the floral design. Great coverage & blending. Maybe balance the design w/ some matching flowers on the other side on the lower 1/2 of the face. Use some metallic paint or lip gloss & some glitter on the lips to give them some pop. They look very flat against all that metallic. Again, great linework!
