TAG YOU ARE IT march/april 2014

We had a request for opening a new topic, for the next few months, so here it is!



This is the premise of "Tag, You're It:" The person before you on the list sends you a PM telling you what they want you to paint...and you have two days to come up with it and post it.

We have two teams.
~ When you are done your painting, tag the next person in your team
~IF you want to play, just add your name to the bottom to one of the teams list (you don't have to ask to join) then repost the list with your name added.
~When you are tagged, you have 2 days to complete your design...if we don't hear from you, it goes to the next person on the list. (Your turn is forfeited and if you want to try again, you need to put your name on the bottom of one of the lists)
~When you complete your tag, remove your name from the list, PM the next person on the list with their assignment; you should also put the info in the thread so others know who's been tagged and what they are to paint.)

Please post your name as it appears under your avatar...if you shorten it, especially if you are new, by the time we get to your name we may not be able to find you on the memberlist if it is not EXACT!

Have never in my life heard of Pip Studio. Am I correct with a lot of roses, flowers, pink and light blue? Maybe I have time to paint tonight.

I love it! We have the Chinoise blue and Birds in Paradise white duvet cover and i have 4 mugs from birds in paradis. Lovely Good luck with your tag.

I am gonna have to remove my name from the list. I thought I would be able to do it. Got my roommate to finally go to the hospital, but turns out he was worse than anybody knew and he passed away last night. I am going to be dealing with a lot of stuff and won't be on here much!

I love the pip studio design, Albatros. Here in the states I believe we refer to this a shabby chic. Great job!

hey guys, i finished the paint yesterday, but didnt get a chance to post til now...had my niece and nephews for a while yesterday, and was just washing the pait off when they arrived, and then work....anyways...

I was tagged with "spring is in the air," and when i think of spring, i think of dogwood trees and the beautiful blooms that fill their branches in the spring. I remember them always popping up and being so pretty around easter time. now last tag i had was "waterfalls" and i was inspired to to a elemental mask by the "water bending" as seen in "avatar: the last airbender," and i wanted to continue in that theme for this one, so here it is, my wind/air elemental mask, featuring a breeze through the spring-blooming dogwood branches, and the kanji for "wind":







not completely happy with the way it turned out as it was rushed and i still suck at painting the left side of my face (right handed), but i'm getting better with practice. hope you guys like it.

a_better_man_now thats a lovely spring dogwood painting! Lovely.

ReRe i think all of the designs from pip studio are a bit Shabby chic. I love the new bedding linen with hot air balloons, sky and clouds. And their wallpaper is awesome. But i don't think we're gonna have our wall papered with Pip, my husband doesn't like it.

Whew...I'm glad you got your LOTR tag Sammy and a not passing it on. The Dark Crystal tag was tough enough. LOL

I have no idea why the pictures ALWAYS turn sideways in here! I just got the practice head & decided to break it in with my tag. It is not at all like painting on skin.

Awesome job, Sammy. Gollum is one of my favorite characters from the LOTR series.

I should have waited for my daughter to come home & painted her. That practice head wasn't that easy to paint. But thanks for your kind words. I think everyone has a soft spot for Gollum.

OMG! I don't think she would like you to shave her head though. LOL

lol, I was gonna do several characters from the fellowship of the ring on her back.

I am still around and have net still! I am packing like a crazy person, but could probably do my challenge once ReRe finishes her coca cola challenge! A little distraction might be a good thing
