what are your favorite 3 colors? and why?

just curious!

White, black and gold. I love doing accents, and they all make a dull painting really perk up and shine!

Wolfe/DFX White, Kryolan Int. Bronze, and Snazaroo Sparkle Turquise-

White for dots and lines- love it!
Bronze for its beauty when used as a base and on lips
Sparkle Turquoise for the color and sheen

My favorites are, Snaz Salmon Pink Sparkle, Kryolan AquaColor Silver, & WB Black...though it's potent. I would've tossed in Bach Blue as well (it really is very very lovely!) but I don't think my firewall is sufficient enough to keep Shannon's hand from coming through my screen.

Not until I get down to only two pots left... I've got seven...

Colors fav change perhaps - and I think of them in comination with each other -

OK 3 - lately it's been -
Lt Blue, Lime & Lt Purple

what is bach blue? is it a brand or color? curious now!!!

I love purple, turquoise, and lime green!!! I won't count black and white because white is the absence of color and black is a combination of all colors! HAH! I learned something in Color 404! Take that Professor Leeore!

But I digress...I love ALL of my colors... three is a REALLY small number!

My favorite color in general varies anyway, so it's hard to peg. I get into kicks... it was putting pink and yellow together and it blends to a nice bright orange in between... pretty butterflies and flowers and stuff. Now I'm being drawn into purples with turquoise, maybe some bright green. Maybe it's the call of autumn.

I love the Electric Blue from Snazaroo..But I do love Bronze, sparkle pink..gold. purple, lime green/sparkle, sparkle, gosh..to many....

ONLY 3???? I guess I would go with
1) Wolfe White (changed my world to realize white could go over another color and not bleed in and look right!)
2) Kryolan Neon Rainbow Cake - choosing a rainbow is probably cheating (maximum impact and wow from kids when you've got to do a quick design-eye designs with white swirls and tear drops, quick thick black paint graffiti names or tribal design on top - Boom! Done!!! swipe it in an arch and slap a few clouds on it! snap! add planes/rockets for boys or unicorn or stars for girls!! and don't forget rainbow tiger, butterflies and rainbow snake!!!! Endless possibilities that get the job done fast! )
3) Paradise HOT PINK (girls love it!!!)

Okay, now I feel really dull...I really need to expand my horizons and see what this Bach blue is all about...sparkle pink sounds lovely, and lime green. Hmm...this could get expensive. I'm telling my husband on ALL of you!

who makes Bach blue anyway?

Kryolan and it has been discontinued.....good luck finding it.

Don't think y'all that we got all of these supplies at once! I've been collecting my stuff over the past 4 YEARS! I have a 2, three drawer bins full of stuff and several shelves... you'll be that way one day as well.. don't rush it!

My problem is that I already have evidence of other obsessions crammed in the closets of my house! Beads, Fabric, Scrapbooking, Silver wire...now face paints...

It has to stop somewhere...

I guess the day I die is as good a quit date as any other...

Don't think that you're alone in that. I have a room dedicated to crafting/art... and then also the top floor of our shed, as well as a closet in the den...

I have everything from blacksmithing tools, to resin and molds, to clay for my pottery(i'm a ceramics major!) to bookshelves of fabric, to drawers of yarn, to unpainted prestretched canvas, to bins of scrapbook stuff, to shelves of balloon scraps... just... EVERYTHING. My boyfriends says that I could open a craft store with all of my stuff. It's the truth.. and it hurts.

Because money has been an issue lately, I do realize it will take time to build up my supplies. BUT I have taken up a new hobby that is surprisingly cheap---right up my alley. ALTERED BOOKS!!! You can make them expensive or for free. I'm on my second book, as the first one was actually a remembrance book of the summer for a friend. cheap cheap cheap .25 for a hardback book at the library, and garage sale or digging into my scrapbooking supplies. (actually, my husband spoils my hobby desires, so I'm sure he'll start bringing in the goods for my facepainting fetish now.)

Oh geesh... it's like reading my life story... I have bins of craft stuff (felt, beads, ric-rac, etc. etc.) hot glue guns, wire.... I actually gave away a ton of it to a summer camp for kids cause I was running out of space for my make-up.

I've been doing make-up professionally for over 12 years and before that I did it for fun... and have been into dressing up and costuming even longer... You NEVER toss anything that could be used in a costume! Am I right?????

Yes, yes you are. I have so much trouble getting rid of ANYTHING that could possibly be a costume...my parents bought a punching bag set thing, and it has I think a 5' bar going across it...which is now JAM PACKED with costume pieces. Add the bin of capes, the 3-drawer trolley of accessories, the bin of head pieces and props and shoes and wings...

Lots don't even fit me, and/or I've never used them, but I keep thinking that someone else will use it...haha.

I think white and black are given.
