So I just did my first facepainting gig on the weekend and I totally loved it. Not a paid one but pretty much the reason I learnt to paint. It was for a 100% volunteer run weekend festival where I was cordinating the kids space and activities. I pretty much spent the last month scouring this forum and practising on my kids with the results being not too shabby. unfortunatly I dont have any pics cause I was flat out while painting but a parent told me it was the classiest face painting theyd seen in a long while so I think I may have got the professional look I was after. Im a perfectionist so there was no way I was gonna rock up and do cringeworthy craftpaint doodles. The faves were a rainbow cake butterfly, a tiger and a string of girls who all wanted identical cheek roses. Its just so rewarding when you show them the mirror and they go "wow". Great practise too at getting faster. Anyways just wanted to share how much Im enjoying my facepainting journey.

Glad you enjoyed it... and now you are hooked??????

I am having my first gig on Saturday ....a Face Painting 'PLAY DATE' with some of my friends and their children at a local playground...... not getting paid..... I want to get some experience with a group of kiddies and hopefully some photos to add to my portfolio......
