Need new brushes but I am buying BLIND!
Hi all,
I've been using some cheapo brushes and tonight 3 of my favourites died I am going to order some more but I'm not sure how to match them to the ones I have. As they are just cheap ones they don't seem to match up to the number system that is used. I really love the sizes that I have - is there a way to get similar ones? What if I took a pic of my current ones next to a coin or something - would any of you be able to tell from that?
(Am I allowed to post a link to the set that I was thinking of getting? It's here in Australia but it's on a store's website..)
Thanks!

Hate to tell you this but from what I can tell brush sizes vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. A number 4 Loew-Cornell brush is not necessarily the same size as a number 4 Royal Majestic although both are great brushes.

Agreed. I love Loew-Cornell. 3-6 are great all around brushes.

Feel free to post a pic of your brushes with a size reference if you can. Who knows we might be of some help.
