Taxes are in...I'm buying supplies!
So, I have a good amount of the basic supplies. I know I need more of the "essentials" and refills of my black and white but what other things are you guys' "go to" stuff? I have been painting for 2 going on 3 years but I haven't spent alot of money on it (even tho I've made a decent amount).

Irredesent glitter, good brushes, FWW sponges. Make your own split cakes and you're good to go. I'm finding that having everything doesn't really do anything for your painting. Although, I am a huge advocate of a large range of colors. That is one thing I am willing to invest in.

Nice deal Bec, thanks for the link. Do you have any problems with small children sliding on the back?
Re: Taxes are in...I'm buying supplies!
nope. Even when I do little little guys, it's great. Plus, I can sit in it without being afraid of it collapsing. lol!

The back fabric is actually longer than it looks in the picture.

Make sure to save a bit of money to take a class. Yes great products are good, but invest in your skills as well.

When you buy your black & white go for the 90 gram & stock up. You'll regret getting the smaller ones & always running out.
My 2 favorite investments were my directors chair & my Fatmax. Don't get a wooden directors chair. I've had mine a year & will need to replace it soon. I've had a few moments where it's groaned. This years taxes are getting me a sturdier chair. My Fatmax is amazing & carries everything. I can also use it as my table & I'm packed up in 5 minutes at the end of a gig! It is heavy to lift.
I can't pick a paint I can't live without because I have to many to choose from....
Good paint brushes. This was the beginning of my true improvement.
