Seriously... this picture kills me. No doubt she has Yoko's avatar posted on her board. This girls' face is like "Really? REALLY?!"

I appreciate all the support and thank you to have let me know. As I said on FB I contacted her by mail. I will let her 'til tomorrow to delete the pics. If she doesn't do anything I will then take action.

Not cool. Why would anyone think it's okay to use someone else's work for their promotional material? And it's pretty obvious from the sheer number of 'valentine cats' she has all through her albums that she uses Yoko's pic on her display board for gigs too. Tut tut.

Thank you for writing in a professional manner. I couldn't design a website if I tried but have contacted the gentleman that did it for me and asked him to correct this (2nd time). I only used those images as inspiration and did not intend for any to end up there.

I don't believe it for a minute, but sometimes it is easier to lie a little, to give yourself an easy out. I let her have that. Meanwhile, hopefully she will remove the rest, including the profile pic on her blogger account.

Now I am grossed out about the mascara. It isn't even new mascara...it looks like old, cruddy, yucky stuff. I keep Great lash and disposible wands. You have to replace that stuff at least every three months, it just gets too yucky. It is only a few bucks, and with double coupons at the grocry store...come on!

I'm pretty sure she didn't know better Or did it with the intention to compete with mis yoko Or anything negative of any kind. I think that if rthling & ms yoko emailed her for her to delete the pictures then none of us should email her to tell her what she did was wrong. Or to harass her on facebook, Thats unethical & unprofessional of us to do that. This forum is to be friendly to one another & if we ever see stolen pictures then we should PM the owner of the picture. Just my thought.

As someone that maintained websites and created a few, I'm a little bit offended by the "blame the webmaster" trick. Even someone with basic knowledge knows about copyrights...so if the designer did put in some sample pictures I can guarantee you it was with the warning "I put in these pictures to show you how it will look but you need to provide me some content."...and she didn't. She's being lazy...that being said....

I actually hope she joins the forum or networks with other painters because just a few hours of the right kind of inspiration would have her designs singing....they are a mess right now but in the mess I can see a lot of potential...at least she's "going for it" with full faces. She could be really fantastic with the right paints and some line work training.

It is sad and disapointing, but maybe not surprising. She was not just the victim of the webmaster. Just plain dishonest and unethical. How can you rip off little kids? Some of them, at least some of them have to be disapointed that they do not get what is on the picture. That breaks my heart.

Dear a face painting mom:
In the background of your above link to what's her face's picture, she is displaying Miss Yoko's avatar on her own menu board as her work to choose from. Her actual work is so inferior. The children must have been so disappointed. I was looking at her face painting attempts on face book and there are some photographs of some grey & white young gentlemen. They appear to be the older cousins of our own "poopy puppy".
Do you think what's her face is the inventor of Poopy Puppy?

If poop were pink! I just feel so bad for all those little girls who thought they were going to look like that picture. So sad.

This just proves that the accidental webmaster thing is bull. I have an inspiration file that I look at but would never show potential clients. I for one cant do Yoko's skill of painting. It saddens me that she feels her stuff is not good enough to put out on a display board. The only thing for her to do now is just practice a little bit more each day. Sure hope she gets it worked out soon though, cause the whole stealing thing is not good for business.

Janb I hope I never see any of my work on there ...... I was going to do that festival but they told me that had a face painter ...... One of my fav little girls is on there I will show you the photos of her painted by me then the one painted by her........ OMG I'm Not HAPPY ........

It looks like the same little girl, the only thing I noticed that was different and it may be because of the lighting or just her hair getting darker on the top photo. I would say it is her. Boy, that photo stealer's work is blah...compared to yours. Your work is so much better. She doesn't line paint well at all, she is not very creative either. If you find out that...that is the little girl that you've painted before why not try to get the face painting job at the North Alabama State Fair this year? Show them your work, even if you have to make photos and send to them, that may help you.

at Mike's FABA...that WAS a nightmare! But a funny one!

Just, if you are in that area, put your app in for the fair right now, and tell them that they really cannot afford to sell space to this other face painter again. Just the mascara issue alone should give them pause...send them a copy of your insurance certificate, make a big deal about your sanitary practices exceeding OSHA standards, send pictures that MATCH your board, tell them you deliver what you promise, and give people their money's worth. This is just horrible. I am from the south...and I can't even bless that woman's heart...that is a deliberate crook, not a lady trying to learn to paint who did not know any better, just starting out, getting better and better, learning as she goes, having a hard time with her webmaster, etc...this is a plotting theif who just set out to make some easy money. Who knows what kind of paint that is or what she put on those kids other than the nasty mascara. As difficult as it would be, this is so why we need to be regulated. It really makes me ANGRY.

She also finally answered to me, putting herself as the victim from the self righteous person I am and my linch mob...
Today is another day I have plenty of stuffs to do and I lost enough of time yesterday.
