Did I miss it?

Was Athena live and free on FABA last night and I missed yet another freebie?!!!!

Yes, but the stupid video stream kept freezing. Had to refresh it and then would get a stupid commercial every time. Think I only saw about fifteen minutes of the whole hour. Gonna watch when they put it up on FABAtv so I don't have the problems. What I saw--well, let's just say that talking kinda sidetracks her from painting.

My son had all star soccer practice till 8pm and the coach kept them an extra 30 minutes. By the time I came home, I missed it

I caught the second half of it. She was pretty good! She was doing an NFL body paint with two footballs for the breasts, the logo on her stomach and her arms and shoulders were the green field with the white lines and numbering. She talked about using black and white to highlight letters, and creating a rounded effect on the footballs by shading a few different browns and adding a white highlight.

Then she briefly did 'Corona' lettering on her back, with a beer-design already painted on.

Wasn't really my cup of tea, since I'm not really interested in corporate/logo body painting... but it was still fun to watch!

It was also funny to read the live stream of comments... Nick Wolfe kept making 'inappropriate' jokes about the model...

I haven't caught a live one yet, but I do love to watch them on FABAtv after the fact.

I hate watching it live, I just wait for the class on FABATV and then watch it. I have been looking for the Arty Cake class yay!! thanks for the info, off to watch now

OMGosh! Rebecca rocks! Now I need a sushi palette...where can I find one? The dragon mask is awesome! I love the texture of the green mask.

yeah that sushi palette is pretty cool, I made one using my scraps, was easy.
The dragon mask was cool but thought it took too long and complicated for my taste.

have to admit, i drew the dragon mask the night before i filmed.

it took 8 min on faba c me talking....but, i'm sure that under 5 would be the norm. yeah!!! i'm going to watch now. the sugar skull was my favorite that day

I think the dragon mask could be faster with practice. I'm going to use the texture on my regular monster mask. I have never tempted to do fire as of yet! LOL

next time i do faba, i'm going to practice the designs. that was the first time i painted it...you know it's always slower the first time...and i was talking. i know i'm going to include it in my design offerings
