Problems with Snazaroo Cosmic Palette
Hi, there....
I recently purchased two Snazaroo Cosmic Palettes during Beverly Craft's store closing sale. I got the palettes for half price, so the deal was good, but I have tried to use the colors and they are coming out very transparent when I paint with them. They are almost unusable. I cannot get a good solid color out of any of them and these colors presumably should be coming out almost neon tone.
I've never experienced this problem with Snazaroo paints before and I'm wondering if, perhaps, the paints themselves may be old. Who knows how long they've been on the shelf.
I was just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if you have diagnosed the problem and dried up/expired paint, or if this is inherent with the Snazaroo cosmic colors?
Thanks for any responses!

Re: Problems with Snazaroo Cosmic Palette
Hi there,
I just took a quick peak at the palette you're talking about on Amazon, and it says that it's they're UV (blacklight) paints.
It says: "Snazaroo UV colors are translucent under normal light but really glow under black light."

Crap, crap, crap.... total crap. They aren't worth it... I wouldn't take any as a gift. I have some (of course I do )... useless. I don't even know why they bothered to package and sell them... comparable to cheap Halloween crap...
And I like Snazaroo!

Re: Problems with Snazaroo Cosmic Palette
I also had snazaro UV set. I used 1time on my hand. Transparent on daylight. Under a UV lamp OK. within 1 week they hardened like a stone. burnt out. pity money.
DFX and Eulenspiegel are better. But DXF white, blue and violet hardened too. Pink, orange, green and yellow are ok.
