Bulk Brushes
I know everyone has their favorite brushes. I've seen some of you buy brushes in bulk. Where? Right now I'm hoarding the Michael's coupon's and buying brushes one at a time, which is okay since facepainting isn't my main source of income. (Well really it isn't a source of income right now at all ) But I would really like to buy some brushes in bulk so when I do decide to take that "plunge" I have enough on hand. So where do you all buy them from?
TIA

Re: Bulk Brushes
I think brushes are the one thing you shouldn't buy in bulk. It seams like every time you blink someone is coming up with a new technique with a different brush so you run and buy it and before you know it you have 30 or more brushes.
Re: Bulk Brushes
I bought a few single brushes from the art store and as I used them I realised which one's I reach for more so I just buy more of them... My local art store knows me well so they offer me discount.
Re: Bulk Brushes
I've toyed with buying this set quite a few times. Royal Majestics are my favorite, but I usually have to buy one at a time and I hate that.

Do you buy a bulk set, or just a lot at one time? I'm having the darndest time finding a bulk set of #4 rounds. That's all I want!

Re: Bulk Brushes
Here are the brushes I use because I have color dedicated brushes and they can be had for a pittance with a coupon at michaels or use a 50% off coupon from JoAnns that they also accept. Altho there are 20 brushes are in the set, 10 round & ten flat, I primarily use the #3-6 rounds. There are several 7, 8 for body painting and I require them as class supplies for my students. I use the rest of the brushes for decorative painting with acrylics. The sponges are under two bucks there, too.
As you can see I have a few brushes of several sizes per color ; ) Flat brushes for One Stroke work and I keep them in an ice tube tray available at Walmart.
Happy Painting,
Susan
