Diamond FX for Sale

Hello,

I bought a bunch of Diamond FX colors and am disappointed because I thought they would be in the same sized pots as Wolfe Brothers...but the pots are larger...so they don't work for me. I really like my Wolfe Brother's paints and was told these were practically the same, and cheaper, so I bought them. I didn't think to ask if they were in the same sized pots... I just assumed they were!

Anyone want to take them off my hands? I haven't touched a single one! Brand new! One of the pots looks a little scratched, but that is the way they arrived...just today in fact.

I'll sell them one at a time for the same price that I bought them ($10.00 a piece + shipping). Shipping would be whatever it costs me to send it, no mark-up.

OR A GREAT DEAL....if you are looking for a bargain, I'll sell them all at once at a reduced price and with free shipping, but you must buy them all ($9.50 a piece+free shipping!). U.S. only, please.

Just curious: why is the size a problem?

According to the DFX distributor, Wolfe and DFX are essentially the same. They are made in the same factory, start with the same paint base, but DFX has less perfume and is less expensive. But over time the color formulas have change a bit here and there as the products went their seperate ways.

Do you have any old Wolfe pots you could put them in? Are you trying to put them in a pallette or were you hoping for the ones that screw together. If the person you bought them from told you they were they same, could you not ask for a refund? Just a thought.

Let me know as I have some old Wolfe pots if you need some.

Are you going to Living Canvas in San Jose next month???? Cause, if you are I would be willing to buy the lot off of you there... I put everything into my jumbo palettes so the containers make no difference to me.

Actually, I'm
1) kind of a perfectionist
2) wanting to limit what I have in my kit

So I have a list of wolfe colors that I consider my "kit" and wanted to get replacements. I like that they all screw into each other and I like the colors, so when I received these...I discovered that some of the colors are slightly different and they won't screw into what I already have...it feels like I have weirdness in my kit instead of a set. I don't have an extra set of empty pots yet, but I suppose that I could switch them when my pots empty. I just didn't like the difference in the colors that I was seeing.

The person who sold me the diamond fx's was not the person who told me they were the same, and the return policy is 100% satisfaction guaranteed, but its for an exchange, not a refund. I don't see anything else that they sell that I want, so that's why I'm selling these.

Am I sounding whiney??

Anyway, Shannon, thank you for the offer. I don't know if I will be making it to the Living Canvas Convention. I am scheduled to work all three days and don't know if I can manage to change my schedule. I'm considering it. It sounds like fun. Since you're in Canada and you've been such a great help to me, I'm happy to send them to Canada for you free of charge if you'll buy them at $9.50 each.

Yes, there is a small difference in colours. Found out when I ran out of my normal DFX light blue and could only get Wolfe. Thought: well, it is the same.. but no. But both are great.
Do understand the need to have a "set"
