Can I call myself a PRO yet? Maybe on 'P' plates?
I have done a few FREE fundraisers for the RSPCA and now how finally had a birthday and large event PAID gigs. The RSPCA fete day was open 9am till 2pm and I managed to paint 80 children in those 5hrs. Some simple & quick, others full faces. They arranged a line manager for me and she was worth her weight in gold. She handled the cash, gave out tickets with the childs choice written on. I simply took the tickets, spiked them on the appropriate spike and painted, painted, painted. At the end of the day, counting $3 and $5 tickets and simply multiplying them was a whole lot faster than counting cash (I took a % of the takings) and I had a record of which designs I had done and which to remove from my choice boards.
The CD chain makes an effective attention grabber and doubles as mirrors for longer looks at their faces.
A HUGE thanks goes to ALL on this forum. From my tent setup, the idea of tickets, choice boards and end of line signs. They all worked great for me.
Here are a few shots of my setup and kit. All sugestions of any changes that could be made gladly accepted.

The definition of a professional face painter is a paid painter so yes, you are a professional. Even looking at your designs I would say you are doing great

Your set up looks great! And I love the idea of the tickets; great that you had someone given to help too
Just had a look at your gallery - I really like your butterflys, somehow I never thought of using the double loading technique for them aswell as flowers! Mind if I use the idea?
Very happy for you; Ms. Professional!

Thank you ladies. It can be a little scary out the first few times. Your comments help greatly.
