Party Skull
Hi all. After the great comments I got I used the Wolfe green skull fro the halloween party. I think it turned out quite well. I few people thought it was a mask from a distance!

Re: Party Skull
That is so good! My skull looks like it was drawn by my 5 year old in comparison, lol!

Re: Party Skull
I have to agree with the comments! One of the best skulls I have seen and really does look like a mask! Great job!
Re: Party Skull
Wow, thanks for all the comments.
It took me about an hour as 1: I'm painting myself in a mirror, and 2: I'm not creative but it seems I can copy, so I'm watching the DVD while I'm doing it and pausing at key moments so I can copy it.
I used snaz dark green and yellow with DFX light green, white and black.
I have found I don't have a light touch with a sponge so I paint the line at the top of the shading with a brush and then drag it out with a dry sponge. Same with the eyes, brush them in then sponge them to fuzz the edges to soften.
I'm really happy so many people like it.

Re: Party Skull
Lonnie, Its the DVD that comes with the Extreme Face painting Book by Brian & Nick Wolfe. It isn't covered in the book but 2 extra faces are explained on the DVD, this skull and a mardi gras mask. I saw the skull and thought "I HAVE to do that"
There is a certain point where everything changes. It looks like nothing special, not even skull like then magically your perspective changes and there it is. How he does it all with a sponge I'll never know.
