First try at Zombies!! Empty First try at Zombies!!

Please be gentle, haha...this is my first try at a Zombie as well as my first image post! My daughter's boyfriend begged me to paint him as a Zombie so I decided to give it a try (only painted half his face). I also didn't have any fake blood, liquid laytex or spirit gum, so I used my Diamond FX paints, torn tissues & Elmer's white glue to make his flesh wounds.
The other pictures are of my daughter & her boyfriend a few days later on Halloween as ZOMBIES of course. I used fake blood as well as gel blood along with my Diamond FX paints. I loved using the gel blood because it looked so real & stayed in place once it set. The only problem is it is so shiny it didn't photograph well & you can't see all the gorey detail in the wounds. Oh well, had tons of compliments all night. People kept asking them if they had it professionally done because it was so good; my daughter's response was, "nope, just my mom!" Gotta love her!

It was soooo much fun...Think I'm hooked & can't wait til next Halloween!

Those are fabulous!! You are so creative with your tissues and Elmer's glue! Might want to get something cosmetic grade for next time.. but seriously! Well done!

I'm actualy curious what paints you used to get the base color. (obviously white)... but what else did you blend in? I LOVE it!
