Starting up christmas designs...

I know what 3D means but I wouldn't know how to do a 3d leaf. I just used a square flat brush, bright leaf arty cake and rounded my branches while stacking them.
I was painting in oils and on canvas when my boys were young. I wish I would have found face painting back then. I have falling in love with it. I have two grand-daughters but don't get to see them much. When I do see my 5 year old grand-daughter I have to bribe her so she will let me paint her, she is tired of me painting her already. Jeez!
I thought about contacts but my eyes already feel dry. I don't know it I could stand them but they might be worth a try. Yes, it is a blessing to have built in models and I envy that too.

thanks j... I'm still learning. I've only been face painting since June. It always seems something is missing, I try to add more and then it seems so busy... I'm wondering if it will ever balance out and you actually are satisfied with the end result?

Tomorrow I will be having a Christmas party. So I'm deeply thinking of a nice eyedesign...
The only problem is, I would like a Christmas inspired eyedesign, but it must be suitable with my purple-white-black outfit. My dress is purple.

I found an interesting video...I'm also a little disturbed by it...was contemplating whether to share or not, but the FP was creatively done...I cannot say more because I don't fully understand it myself.

I could not agree more on that one. What was that? I don't get it either???

Right? I was having some serious mixed feelings on it, and was wondering how much the artist got paid for that gig.

I hope she/he got paid well, plus the artist got a lot of exposure. So maybe it will pay well in the end. That is the only good thing I see about the video. The rest really sucks and you are right it is disturbing.

Later on I was having second thoughts, thought that a big flashy, sparkling, eyedesign might be inappropiate... as we recently last one of our band members...
So in the end I kept it small and delicate....
