Starting up christmas designs...

lol still trying to post pic i thought i could do it by using the "host image" button but it doesnt seam to work for me

Kathy, I usually just upload to Photobucket then resize there. Then I copy and past the forum image URL here

Lovely designs!! I have yet to try and design anything christmas yet! I will be staying with family next weekend and I will have 5 kids to practice on!!

Lizzie, I LOVE your little birds! They remind me of a hallmark card. I think your art is amazing and your style is one of my favorites!

I don't know exactly what my style is though... I still keep copying ideas from other painters.. The birds are Clare Jeffery's and the cones are from our one and only Denise!
Still hope I'll be able to do my own designs and have my own style in time!

This is my really first design, but yet inspired by Saskia de Wit's facepaint of a "zwarte piet".

It need little improvement I think, especially the bell in Santa's hand.

What do you think of it?

Your snowman is so awesome. I love the shading as it gives it almost a 3D quality...lovely!

So many great designs!! From Creabella's hilarious santa, and Lizzie's cute birdies and Lengnuy's icy eyes and lonely snowman oh my and so many other great designs too many to mention but also very awesome...love them all!

These lovey-dovey snowmen are always a hit with little girls (and adults) The design was inspired by a cookie wrapper that a kid I painted was holding a few years back...

Yes, the designs that come by here are all fabulous!!!
