Thank you, Christelize and Amanda. I've painted your melty snowman and snow fairy designs and they are gorgeous! I made a "My Little Reindeer" just because I wanted to use red and green.

Daughter's first comment, "Reindeer don't have manes, mum!" Yes, I know that. I don't care. I think it's pretty. Very Happy

Any chance you's share your turkey mask designs? I am stumped over that idea. I do a cute half face turkey that incorporates one eye for the turkey's eye and put a pilgrim hat on him. ..but i couldn't come up with a mask idea. I have a gig Tuesday night and would love to give them a try.
Question geek

Here are the originals(better work than mine in a practice head)
This is by CLAYTON from Michigan's face painters

I found this other one on google I don't know the artist to credit.

And of course I had Lysa's turkey for boys but they didn't want it.

I llove the black back drop! Daizy has full instructions on how she gets her great pics on her blog, I am sure she does not mind...that black really sets of the design and makes it pop. Sometimes I get lucky and my pics come out that way, totally an accident, but I would love to set something up for these kinds of shots. One day...one day.

Right. First attempt at inventing a mask from scratch rather than copying. Mind you, I'm sure all the individual bits are copied still! I'm not entirely happy with it. I think next time I'd leave out the under-eye icicles and do something different.

And my snowman. He seems lonely somehow.

Awww, he does look lonely, in that cute, "somebody hug me" kind of way! I think it's the lack of mouth - with no smile, he automatically looks a little sad - and then the blowing scarf and hatband have a desolate feel. He's darling!

And - face painting mom (I LOVE YOUR AVATAR) - my black backdrop is nothing more than a piece of black fabric thrown over the back of a couch - or, if I don't have my good camera with me, I throw it over my back door to take advantage of natural light. You don't need a studio setup to get a picture.

Here's one I did years ago - not very good, but maybe give inspiration to some of you who could actually do something nice with it:

It's no problem... you don't need to change it for me, there are more that are using it i found out, don't know how Daizy feels about it... It is classy, yes, and that's what you want to show other people, but its also a way of branding, if you know what i mean. Don't worry I don't care if you use it, but i just wanted to say that I was confused. No hard feelings...
