Loving my Sparkly Tiger
I found an image of Tiger stripes that I liked from Christina Davidson (from a Fabaic flyer) I noticed that she uses a combo of long teardrops with "hooks" and they look very smooth and beautiful. I practiced (first without the sponging) and loved it just in black (and the ears) and then I tried it in tiger colors and then I painted my face for a PPF using pearls to better match my headband and ended up painting it 3 times. It was so fun to go to lunch and see the looks in the restaurant.
It's not exactly like Christina's (especially her superior sponging) but I LOVE learning from great people, they make me better.

Re: Loving my Sparkly Tiger
I love the color blending on Christina's tiger. I'm shooting for that next. She says that she makes a Snaz base and then blends colors into it.
"Hi Gina, I did the whole shape in white first, then put Kryolan bronze and Wolfe metallic green on top of the white. Think for the eye shadow I mixed a little copper or brown into the green to make an olive color."
Anyway, Christina if you see this THANK YOU! I'm going to have to get some Snaz white and try it out.

Re: Loving my Sparkly Tiger
This is a pretty old thread but I am happy that I feel like I can finally do Christina Davison type designs on the job. Here's a "Felinity" (that's what she calls it...it's more a cat design I found out) that I did at a birthday.

Re: Loving my Sparkly Tiger
I love that design by Christina also, and tried my hand at it a few years ago.
Of course, it wasn't nearly as lovely as the original, or as your take on it.
But you have inspired me to give it another shot!
