Loving my improvement!
I just wanted to share two pics with you all. The first one is my niece and was painted five months ago when I first started painting. I remember being pretty happy with it at the time and now it makes me cringe!!! The second one is a little girl I painted at a job today. I asked her mum for permission to take her photo and when I looked at the pic I was really happy with the improvement. Most of the credit for my improvement would have to go to Face Paint Forum and all you generous artists for sharing your tips and techniques. I have learnt so much on here, I am so grateful to you all. The rest of the credit goes to plain old practice, practice and more practice.

Hi Kim, I love to see pictures like this. It is amazing how much you have improved.
Re: Loving my improvement!
Both of your butterflies are beautiful, but you can definitely see a big change in your second one!
Re: Loving my improvement!
Well done Kim your improvement really shows in the second one, beautiful.
Which purple is that, that you have used for your outline?

Re: Loving my improvement!
Thank you for your kind comments, it is looking at all the amazing art on this forum that keeps me motivated to improve. I learn something new everytime I get on here (which is about three times a day on average!) The purple that I used for the outline is regular TAG purple. All of my paints are TAG except for my white, which is DFX - another tip I learnt on here .

Re: Loving my improvement!
Awesome! I just did a similar one yesterday with TAG purple as the outline.
Re: Loving my improvement!
Wow Kim, you work so hard and its really showing, I cant wait to get together or work together again soon.
Re: Loving my improvement!
Very nice improvement! So dainty and girly, nice flowing lines.
Don't make your dots quite so big, but varying the size of the three dots together is great. Also, remember what a wow the 5-pointed start can add. And don't forget white hightlights and black highlights. Adding the above can really step your painting up another knotch.
