How much percentage should I give to the festival?

Hello. I am in the middle of an aggreement to face paint this weekend at the Asian 2 day Festival. They are willing to give me the booth for free ($300-500 per booth) for a percentage of the profits. Any suggestions? Answer here AND email me: bluangl83@hotmail.com. Thanks!

Honestly, I've never had to pay a booth fee or had to pay a percentage. I guess I've just been lucky that way.

I don't know if this is reasonable, but could you maybe work it out that you pay them 15 or 20% of your profits, up to the $300 that the booth fee would have been?

Fees will start from 10%-25% I would def try for the 15% area. I'm not sure what you would make at such an event, but you don't want to go over the $300-$500 price of the table. I agree with Heather

10-15% up to a certain amount. I would limit it to no more than the lowest booth fee. Remember your an attraction as well as a kids activity and addition to the event, not just selling your wares.
