FUNNIEST MOST BIZARRE FACE PAINTING STORY EVER!!!!

So, i am painting at a large festival yesterday and its early and a small line starts.

After like the third kid in line I see a man... in a bathrobe.

Just a tan bathrobe, nothing else oh wait, he had on dress socks and dress shoes…

So, I notice this older man 60ish wearing his tan bath robe with his dress socks and dress shoes... then I notice he's in line 

So THEN I hear trying to bribe my hair feather partner into painting him and she gave him the ol "her insurance wont cover me... " then she gives me big smile...

So after patiently waiting his turn even reminding a little girl that he was next, he sits in my chair and requests that I paint... wait for it... GIRAFFE SPOTS on his forehead. Um.. ok so with my straight face I ask him if he wants me to wing it or use THE RED INKED SPOTS HE HAD ALREADY OUTLINED ON m HIMSELF!!! I am to use the pre-inked spots...

After painting his spots, I am two paint 2 stars, one on each side of the spots, one orange and one yellow.

"Don't forget the glitter", he says.

Lastly, he told me he was an artist too.... wait for it again... "he makes flyers to add 59 days to each month of the calendar for the giraffes. Soon, it will be legal".
     
He was very calm and matter of fact about the whole thing. Well, here he is in all his glory.

Ahhhh... when I read the part about the bathrobe I was really expecting there to be something else afoot. At least he was just harmlessly strange and not, you know .... creepy... wanting you to paint other parts of his body or something.

He does look very happy! Thanks for the laugh!

At least he looks clean, I used to have one of those begging for a face painting (they all have a kid mind) but I never did because he has so much dirt on his wrinkles and stinks !!.

A man wearing his bathrobe near a children's entertainment? I wasn't thinking about painting his foot either!!! Well, he looks really happy!

So funny, this is where I thought you were going with this though. When my husband was in Germany, a man showed up at a party dressed in just a robe, socks and shoes. Well...under that robe he had taken a full leg of a womens stocking and stuffed it and tied it too himself, so when he opened his robe, you can imagine what it looked like when that stuffed,leg size stocking fell down!

As soon as you said man in a bathrobe, I thought oh no! Not the nudest costume!

Oh my! I think I might have called security... LOL! I'm glad it all turned out innocent if not a little crazy!

OMGood Lordy! that's so cute.....well it's amazing what causes people fight for...but hey someone has to fight for the Giraffes....don't they?? LOL

Every once in a while I run across someone who is just strange. Being mischievous, I sometimes ask...."So how long have you been out?" .....Sometimes I get an answer!

Can't beat that it was priceless funny crazy, but did have a very strange moment at a charity event I did this year. The charity is for area kids and their family's with developmental and physical disabilities. A special young man about 15 came up to be painted and when I asked him what he would like me to paint on his face he just pointed at the beige light brown. Well this guy was 5 shades darker than this color so trying to avoid what I was thinking I asked him more specifically what picture he wanted me to paint with that color. He said batman and I said batman is usually black or blue. Then he said with effort scarecrow and I asked comic or movie? Was so glad that was it because I was not the right person to be telling a young African American he should be proud of who he is that's the families job. Also glad he didn't want me to paint him like Michael Jackson.

I am wondering how he got loose, and why nobody was looking for him...but he really does have a pleasant smile...

Haha... I wonder if this is the husband of the woman Manabanana encountered at a recent fair?! Naw... too happy!
