Help with Rates for a Kids Expo-thousands of kids!!

Ok, got that outa my system lol....

I have been asked to paint a huge kids expo... Thousasands of kuds over two days. I would bring my assistant to be line manager, my gopher, help kids pick designs, etc...

My party rate is $85 per hour for about 10-12 full faces.

I gave them my rate of 125$ to include my assistant per hour and told them I can paint 30-40 kids per hour with limited fast designs...

My question is should I cap off? Or lower hourly rate after certain number of hours to make it more affordable for them or a flat rate for the day? Its 6 hours total.

If it's that big of a venue, maybe you could suggest bringing in other painters to work with you, and then, because they have multiple artists, give the a lower bid per hour. It always helps with the inspiration level, and de-stresses you from carrying all the responsibility as well!

When I book an event like this, I offer them my regular hourly rate, but if they want me all day, I have a rate that I give them, the amount I would make at a typical PPF fest in a day. Eg, my rates are 125/hr, or they can have me all day for $600. When they book me all day, of course I get my 'coffee' breaks and lunch as any regular employee would instead of busting myself like a self employed person LOL
