Canadian Face Painting Jams

Seems there are people getting together all over the states but where are the canadian face painting jams happening? I would like to know if anyone local to the Vancouver/Fraser Valley area of BC would like to meet up and paint together. Maybe do a meet and greet come painted at a restaurant and stir things up type of get together.

I like watching others paint and seeing their styles and the way they do their brush strokes etc and I a tired of watching youtube and wouldnt mind the social aspect of chatting with other painters face to face. Maybe even painting each other trying out new techniques or designs... anyone interested? Did I post this in the right spot??

Also are there any upcoming classes/ shows etc coming to the western side of Canada anytime soon or is everything back east and american? I would like to grow as an artist but not have to travel too far to do so. Why is everyone so far away?!?

Jenn!! I've been wondering the same thing! I would LOVE to jam. Sadly I live 4-5 hours away. BUT I do pass by now and again. Maybe next time I've got some extra time that I can work into my trip I'll let you know.

ABSOLUTELY!

I'd love to get together! I have ALOT to learn, and don't have much knowledge to share...but it would be nice to get to talk 'paint' with someone in person. My hubby is already tired of it, and my friends think I'm nuts lol

ya I think I have worn out my family and friends too..lol

There's not too many people that will get as excited as a face painter will to get a new color or glitter... and I just want someone to share my excitement.
