Holy TIPS....

Just finished a 2 days event (5 hours each day) in Windsor called the Balloonapalooza. WOW....the tips were amazing. Perry Noia was doing balloons and I face painted while my mom did glitter tattoos. I have NEVER come across a public event where the people were so darn generous. I cannot beleive it.
Today within a 5 hour span, my mom and I got $260. in tips. WHAT?????? I am shocked. We did pretty good yesterday considering that everyone was giving our tips to the other face painter b/c they thought we were all together and her tip jar was front and center.
Have any of you ever did a free to the public event with such generous people?
Perry said she was getting likt $3 and $4 tips for a balloon dog....all day long. WOWzers.
Still shocked.
We also got an hourly wage from the event co-ordinators. So a very profitable 10 hours. Razz

it was really unreal... over two days, I did 9 hours of twisting and made over $300 in just tips... I'm getting another $325 from the event. I also had 3 birthday parties, the farmers' market and another 2 hour face painting event this weekend.... so I'm going to go curl up and sleep for a couple weeks now. Wink
