Holy Moley! Annie Reynolds and Lynne Jamieson photos
The workshops was GREAT! The girls were fun, we learned a BUNCH!
Here are some photos
They are planning another tour for June 2012!! Their plan is to go to different cities than last time! They asked me to take names of folks that want to host them. Contact me off list if you want to host a workshop for them.

These designs are STUNNING! But Lily I'm curious to know how practical it is to paint with this amount of detail when your at a private booking or PPF?
I would love to paint with more flair in my designs, but once I get black on my brush its either too much or not enough. I'm flairless

Great pics Lily thanks for sharing. Wish I could have been there.
Beans I am new also and when I went to FABAIC this year I thought the same thing. I could never be as fast or as good with all these big intricate designs, but what I have found through a lot of practice since I have been home is that if you try the more difficult things it pushes your skills to another level. Which just helps you get better. So if you try that design that takes 45 minutes at home by yourself a few times. Then you have more skill and confidence to make even simple designs better. Just thought I would share.

I have literally fallen in love with the butterfly girls work.

Please pass on our awe Lilly!

I agree with Laura, and would like to add that sometimes painting for fun is where the complex stuff comes out, or for photo shoots, or for super-specials stuff (proms, weddings, etc). Or again, just for fun.
I do PPF and private events to fund my love of painting for the hell of it.
Thank you for sharing, Lilly. I am so inspired by their work.

Breathtakingly Beautiful!!!!
I love painting the more elaborate paintings (thankfully my girls let me with enough bribery). It really pushes me beyond what I find comfortable and from that I learn so much, that I can pick it apart again and find something useful for quicker faces.
Also the fancy faces are good for marketing and getting attention (especially face book!) And maybe just one day someone will request a custom painting inspired by one of these designs.

Wow, Lilly those designs are simply awesome and great for Galas, night clubs & hi-end gigs! That is the most accurate wing construction I've ever seen (my blue & gold Macaw parrot reminds me of that daily:) Was the chest & arm butterfly done with an airbrush?
I may be interested in hosting them - please email me with the details; Winger1200@aol.com

Thanks Laura, you've really put something into perspective for me. Greatly appreciated!

I just took their class. Lynne paints super fast. She stated if she knows what she want's to paint, it goes lickety split. Now for the rest of us, that would take some practice.
She is wonderful to watch, actually both of them are fabulous to watch and learn from. Very down to earth and hands on.
